When KEXP approached us to distribute their compliation CD featuring exclusive, live recordings that frelect the music they feature everyday, we jumped at the chance. LIVE AT KEXP complation CDs are coveted among listeners and an important source of operating revenue for the station. The latest Volume Four CD is available at Pagliacci and several other local retailers including Easy Street, Sonic Boom, Everyday Music, Silver Platters, Cellophane Square, PCC and Cafe Vitta. Discovering KEXP


I have a confession to make. I'm a recovering flipaholic. You know...on of those people who flip through radio stations looking for the one playing the best song. Or just seeking a station that isn't playing a 5-10 minute block of commercials.

For the longest time I never committed to a single radio station. My friends who listened exclusively to a particular station often felt sorry for me and wold try to hook me up with their favorite call sign. It's not like I never wanted to settle down with one station and raise kids listening to it. I tired. Honestly, I did. I would often get excited to discover a station and think, "This is the one!" But then that feeling would dissipate. Maybe it was hearing the same play list day after day. Maybe it was the horror of finding myself bumming a certain mattress company jinlge a little too often. Soon I'd find myself falling out of like with the station and my fingerswould wander back to the dial again. I didn't want to cheat, but I couldn't help myself.

When I discovered KEXP, things changed. Every day was a different musical adventure sprinkled with new bands, classic gems and fresh sounds. Their mantra, "Where the music matters," rang true with me. The eclectic programming satisfied my every whim: from rock to blues, country to rockabilly, hip-hop to punk, and world to reggae. All this with minimal air breaks. I finally decided to settle down and retire my little black radio dial. I'm even secure enough in our relationship that I don't mind sharing KEP with hundreds of thousands of other listeners from all over the globe.

All my stereo dials thank you, KEXP, for the much needed break.

Live Comedy Night - Broadway Pagliacci Pizza

COMEDY NIGHT

With daily news about the current state of the economy, we could all use a laugh. Join us for Comedy Night at our Broadway Pizzeria where local comics showcase their talents at this free show the first Monday of every month. Catch Kermet Apio at 8 pm on December 1st. Originally from Hawaii, Kermet Apio is one of the Pacific Northwest's most respected and adored comedians. Kermet has traveled all over North America and has appeared on numerous TV and radio shows, including NPR's "Rewind".

Mushroom Primo Back at Pagliacci Pizza


MUSHROOM PRIMO
When trees begin to lose their leaves and a crispness fills the air, we celebrate autumn by paying homage to the rich earthy flavors of mushrooms. Pagliacci Pizza Mushroom Primo showcases fruity Chanterelles, woodsy Shiitakes, rich Portobellos and mild Buttons. The mushroom blend tops an olive oil base seasoned with garlic and thyme. They are accompanied by roasted peppers, onions, capers, parsley, mozzarella and provolone cheese.

Portobellos are the perfect protagonist for a primo of their own. The meaty mushrooms develop a rich flavor marinating in our white balsamic vinaigrette. We combine them with artichoke hearts, red onions, fresh parsley, and mozzarella, provolone and ricotta cheese.

Seasonal Offerings - Eggplant Primo


At Pagliacci Pizza we are surrounded by a bountiful local source of amazing food items that we use to both inspire and create new products in our stores, including the below Eggplant Primo. The Seattle Pizza options are wide and varied, but we believe with focus on quality, fresh and seasonal ingredients that we bring something a little new and fresh to the table.

EGGPLANT PRIMO
Eggplant, like tomatoes and zucchini, is a fruit that is treated like a vegetable in cooking. We roast eggplant in olive oil, salt and pepper. It tops our seasoned tomato sauce, accompanied with sliced tomatoes, mozzarella and shavings of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese. Eggplant is also available as an individual pizza topping.

COMEDY NIGHT TONIGHT

Jesse Case at Pagliacci's Broadway location...

Join us for comedy night at our Broadway Pizzeria on Monday, July 7th at 8 pm. This month's headliner is Jesse Case. Most recently seen on Last Comic Standing, Jesse Case is known for his lighthearted yet cerebral wordplay. Originally from Nashville, Jesse spends his time exploring Seattle when he is not traveling North America telling jokes to the humor deficient.

Every first Monday of the month at the Broadway Pizzeria, Pagliacci proudly presents an evening of stand-up comedy hosted by Emmett Montgomery and featuring a variety of Seattle's talented local comics. Each show will be headlined by one of the Northwest's best professional comics.
